Your support is  necessary to protect civil liberties. The ACLU accepts no government support, and never charges for representing clients. Membership dues and gifts from individuals like you provide the foundation for all we are able to accomplish. Learn more about our finances.

The ACLU cares about protecting your privacy and keeping your information confidential. This website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. You can use this number when completing beneficiary designation forms naming the ACLU Foundation of Northern California as a beneficiary of retirement plans, life insurance policies, and bank or brokerage accounts.  If you make a stock gift your broker also may need this number.
