Were your belongings taken by Caltrans?

Do you have video or photographs of Caltrans taking people’s belongings?

If so, we want to hear from you.

If you had your belongings taken by Caltrans in Berkeley, Oakland, or Emeryville since December 13, 2014 you may be entitled to compensation for what you’ve lost.

Your story is important for the success of the lawsuit we have filed to stop Caltrans illegally taking people’s property and destroying it.

The more we can document what Caltrans has been doing, the stronger our case will be.

We are especially interested in photographs and video showing Caltrans taking or destroying people’s stuff anywhere in the state in the last 5 years.

You can contact the legal team at evidence@aclunc.org and leave information about the best way to get ahold of you. Please don't attach files to this first email. A member of the legal team will work to get back to you as soon as possible with instructions on how to submit evidence files like photos or videos.

Together we can stop Caltrans from their unconstitutional and illegal violation of your rights.
