Allison Macari
Allison Macari is an individual giving officer at the ACLU of Northern California, where she deepens relationships with and provides opportunities for donors to advance justice through their contributions to the ACLU. She is passionate about defending justice and increasing philanthropic support for the ACLU’s work to expand civil rights and liberties.
Prior to joining the ACLU, Allison was the development director at Seven Tepees Youth Program. In this role, she advanced efforts to provide comprehensive services to under resourced youth in the Mission District. Additionally, Allison has also provided stewardship and fundraising event management support for several arts and education organizations in San Francisco, such as the Asian Art Museum, the Exploratorium, and the Museum of Craft and Design.
Allison received her MA in arts administration from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, receiving a certificate in fundraising. She also holds a BA in dance from Colorado University.
In her spare time, Allison enjoys the arts, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area outdoors with her family.
