Roslyn Foy (she/her)
Roslyn Foy is the senior executive assistant to General Counsel Elise Traynum. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the general counsel, including scheduling, maintaining electronic files and other systems, taking notes/minutes for board and committee meetings, and tracking and organizing contracts.
Prior to joining the ACLU, Roslyn worked at UC-Hastings as the faculty events manager/executive assistant in the Academic Dean's Office. One of her most fulfilling accomplishments at UC-Hastings was helping create a program for underprivileged teens, the Summer Law Institute, which allowed students to participate in all aspects of the judicial process. She has also taken numerous courses to enhance her skills, including accounting, civil litigation for paralegals and legal assistants, and event and meeting management courses.
Roslyn also owned a family masonry company, was the executive assistant to the owner and president of the Golden State Warriors, and worked as a legal assistant at Latham & Watkins.
In her spare time, Roslyn enjoys spending time with her husband and their senior dog. She belongs to Meeting Planners International (MPI) and enjoys attending MPI networking events. She also enjoys dancing and going to concerts.
