Virginia Reinhart is the deputy communications director at the ACLU of Northern California.
Virginia’s work at the ACLU is informed by her career in non-profit management, communications, and policy advocacy at mission-driven organizations in the environmental and cultural sectors. Before joining the ACLU, Virginia was the director of the Bay Area chapter of the Sierra Club, leveraging the power of their local member-activists to achieve significant victories for the environment and communities. She currently serves on the board of the environmental justice organization Groundwork Richmond.
